House of X Teaser brought together original Five X-Men from different eras
Charles Xavier's first class of X-Men (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Beast and Angel) get the fame in the latest teaser for Marvel Comics' House of X.
The official Marvel Twitter account posted the picture with the "Face the Future" phrase. The iteration of the Original Five all come from different eras in the X-Men's rich storied history brings the major uniqueness for the poster.
The House of X artwork identifies Cyclops in his costume from Brian Michael Bendis' Uncanny X-Men/All-New X-Men; the feline version of Beast from Grant Morrison's New X-Men; Jean Grey from Jim Lee and Chris Claremont's X-Men of the '90s, which was also made popular on X-Men: The Animated Series; and Angel and Iceman, who look alike to their time on the First Class roster. Adding them is the X-Men's founder, Charles Xavier in his classic hover chair.
The All-New X-Men viewed Beast bring the Original Five X-Men from the previous to the current day, with the wish that their presence would limit Cyclops from resuming down his destructive way. The teenage X-Men Stalled around until last year's Extermination event, which finished them going back to their proper place in the timeline.
Apart from the younger X-Men, the First Class of X-Men hasn't been seen together from many years. Recently Jean Grey came back to life in Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey and Uncanny X-Men Annual #1 as well as bought Cyclops back to the land of the living. It is possible House of X will finally get together the long time friends and teammates, though the versions selected for the teaser brings some queries.
